I remember I used to get so excited for new OnePlus phones. I had a OP 3t and loved that thing to bits. But then something changed and I feel like OP lost their soul and I haven’t been excited for their phones since :/

They used to have amazing spec for the price, now they're mediocre specs for an enormous price.

The first hit that made be a bit jaded was the fact the OnePlus 2 only got 1 major Android update, about 8 months after Google released the update, before they dropped support.

The next hit was the 5t being more than double the price of the last phone I bought from them, it was still much cheaper than the rest of the market though.

I finally moved away from them when I got a Pixel 6a for one third the price of their 1 year old phone.

All phones are boring.

The Fold 5 is boring without even trying. It's a rehash of the previous gen other than some miniscule internal upgrades.

Im fine with boring. All I want is a big screen, good DAC, and an affordable price.

..and, honestly, that's a good thing.
