We encountered this in a one shot! We found a huge stash of gold, and I dove into it Scrooge McDuck style. It wasn't gold. Each coin was a baby mimic, and I had jumped into the clutch.
But did you die?
I was saved while making death saves, so it was close. The funny thing is, I almost broke off their grapple right away. With my +10 athletics, I got a 29 total... but with 6 swarms on me, the save was +5 for each one attached, so DC 30~
Doh! Cut off at the pass.
