The ending quotes and everyone's new life hit so deep. Last ep coming up :(

Man, what a season this has been. I wasn't really a big fan of season 1, but this season absolutely blew me away. Such a sappy episode. I'm glad Thorfinn is finally headed to Vinland with his new brother.
I’m glad Thorfinn is finally headed to Vinland with his new brother.
Absolute chad-talking-to-chad energy on that scene where Einar calls him brother
I'm still on s1. I'm only at ep 10 or so. It started to lose my attention at first but it's picking up. The animation is amazing ofc. I'm watching the dub on this one just cause it's actually pretty damn good, and sometimes I don't feel like reading.
Askeladd really steals the show in the later third of the first season. I've never personally watched the dub but his performance is wonderful in the sub (he's voiced by the VA for Uchiha Madara, who plays his role perfectly imo)
The tone shift from S1 to S2 was a bit jarring for me too but as S2 goes on it really starts to get interesting so hold out it's def worth it to stick with it.
Oh yeah I have been following it weekly since day one, S2 is great and I prefer it slightly more than S1 for sure. It's a more emotionally resonant story throughout its entire runtime
Ya I'll probably watch more later. Kinda picking through it. Love your username. Gintama is top 3 for me.
Enjoy haha, and thank you, figured it wouldn't be taken yet since these federated sites are pretty new. But I do agree regarding Gintama, it's a wonderful series that's pretty much one of a kind. I've been very slowly watching through Saiki K for the past year and change because it's a distant second to Gintama (as close as another show can get to the same vibe imo) and I just don't want it to end lmfao. That being said, I'm excited about the new series they announced recently which fulfills a thought I always had regarding the school setting Ginpachi Sensei gags they did after episode ending credits.
OH THAT'S WHY HE SOUNDED FAMILIAR
Fantastic episode and same with the one before it I actually didn't think Canute would withdraw his forces like he did and I'm really loving Thorfins character development this season.
Legit thought this was the finale until I realized there was one more episode. Hoping for a S3!
True, the time skip for Canute's story made me assume that too.
