MODERATORS

i'll be honest, i started this sub because nobody else had; and i wanted it to exist. i don't want to be a mod, i don't know how to, and i don't like the idea

if you would like to help out, please comment on this post or message me

... I guess I'll claim my place from the subreddit?

oh hi mennenth! you want to be a mod?

Is this a sub about the steam input interface only? That seems very specific.

yeah. i mean, i guess it is, but /r/steamcontroller (and later /r/steaminput) was really useful on reddit. it's not as popular as it once was, the awful new interface alienated the power users, but it's possibly the most powerful controller remapper out there. i find it much better than rewasd (and it's free)

i sort of want this sublemmy to be a repo for interesting layout ideas, but help posts are also welcome

edit: for example, in elden ring i can remove the input lag on the roll button by making l3 a "sticky" sprint, or with my steam controller i can avoid taking my hand off the camera by putting a dpad "under" the right pad; but i wouldn't have thought to do either had i not been inspired by others
