The ICAC is not, however, recommending the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) pursue Ms Berejiklian for any offence.

Guilty as hell, but we won't even try to punish her in any way.

Sucks to be her, her reputation is ruined, and all she has is her current assets and her $200,000-a-year for life pension.

Yeah the laws should definitely be updated to say if you are found corrupt by icac or any other corruption body then you are no longer entitled to the pension.

Maybe some of them will reason that getting the pension is more valuable to them than accepting donations from corporate sponsors.

Yep I think she's learnt her lesson

How much money exactly do you need to have before you can commit crimes without repercussions? I need something to aspire to.

We should hold our politicians to a higher standard because of their responsibility in managing affairs that impact major population groups. The whole cross party political spectrum should be condemning her loudly and publicly.

In no way should she hold any future government or bureaucratic position.

Can anyone suggest the rationale of ruling our criminal charges?

The system working as intended I guess.

Meanwhile you and I would be getting sued by our employer or worse for the same conduct.
