On the one hand, I honestly don't care what he puts on his feet or how tall he is. He's gross because of his policy and behavior, not because of anything physical. On the other hand, it's crazy how vain and thin skinned some of these guys are. I've worked with lots of very good leaders who were pretty short - I don't know why anyone would care.

The Republican voter base probably cares. They see tallness as equal to strength, and strength is what matters most.
People have implicit reactions, and regressives rely on these reactions to keep their voters in line.
He could run around in stilettos for all I care. The worst part is simply the hypocrisy of it.
