I got the latest booster shot the day after it came out. So far, I have had each shot as soon as they have came out.

What I am noticing is that each new shot is kicking harder and harder as far as the days after getting the shot. This last time was really bad with the general lethargy and aching for two days.

Call me dumb, but my experience was so bad that I might have to reconsider getting the next booster. Personally, I feel that there is an odd inflection point with the vaccine vs the virus. At what point does the cons of the vaccine outweigh getting the virus? I am not sure but it will be a consideration the next time the new booster comes out.

If you're having difficulties with the side effects and been going with Pfizer or Modern a, I'd recommend trying Novavax. It's cheaper to produce/store, based on a more traditional vaccine tech, and has less reported side effects. Those are all the points antivaxers love to complain about, but I'm sure they'll find something else to complain about with it.

As for the question of what point the cons of the vaccine outweighs the cons of the virus: long covid exist, is detrimental, and we still don't fully understand it. We're also seeing a chance covid causes severe liver damage. I'll take my chances with the vaccine.

I have not had many side effects from Moderna myself, but good to know.

This is shockingly low.
