Russian doctors have stumbled upon a remarkable tale of survival. They detail finding a needle that has been lodged inside an 80-year-old woman’s brain her entire life. The needle seems to be the result of a botched infanticide, but it has apparently caused no major health issues and will not be removed.

Man, I went looking for the why and found out something truly depressing.

Plus I can’t imagine how horrible it would be to find out your parents might have tried to kill you but failed.

A very metal act surviving an infanticide though.

This is why we need safe legal abortion. Making it a crime doesn't prevent people from trying it.

Yeah, I didn't paste in any more of that article and added a warning as it's a pretty grim back story. She is doing remarkably well all things considered.

I would be horribly dissapinted to find that my parents tried to kill me and failed
