Love the SteamDeck and looking for some good Multiplayer games that feel right on the SD. I find FPS games don’t translate well for me with the keyboard -> controller style jump. So far love Diablo 4 when it comes to MP.

I agree about not playing fps on it.

A lot of retro games, chill stuff like Stardew Valley and other chill sims. Lego games, fighters, maybe some not too intense racers.

I am realizing, as I type this, 99% of my games on deck are single player.

My boyfriend and I have had a ton of fun playing WoW on SteamDeck.

How? With keyboard and mouse plugged in? Or does WoW have controller support now?

Here are the instructions

We're able to use controller settings and play handheld. At times the font is a little hard to read, but we've been able to make it work.

Diablo 4 boost really did very well at the start, but after literally 3 months it lost very much, even transferring to Steam didn’t improve the performance much. But there is still hope with the next global update, if the developers can still understand what the players want.

It takes a bit of jiggering, but Minecraft Bedrock runs pretty well on the SteamDeck. I run a server for my family and even did the usual DNS fuckery to get the Nintendo Switch hooked up to it.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 runs decently on the Steam Deck, and has semi-(?)/de-facto-(?) official support (the developer purposefully switched to a Linux/Wine-compatible EAC earlier this year, and referenced the Steam Deck support in the corresponding patch note).

Should have mentioned Division 2, plays great on the SD but I’ve grown a little tired of the game.

I own it through UPlay; tried setting up Bottles but never got AC Odyssey working. Someday I may be willing to spend more time tinkering with it.

If I'm not mistaken, Diablo 4 was released on consoles, and came out in the fall on Steam, and back in the summer, enthusiasts were able to install d4 carry on SteamDeck, according to the idea, the developers could already add a simple installation to this console

Some suggestions with similar co-op vibes to D4: Spelunky 2, Don't Starve Together, Dark Souls Remastered
