I wouldn't read too much into it. Mints around the world mint all kinds of novelty coins. Sometimes film or TV tie-ins. Intaglio Mint has a cool series of cryptid coins (e.g. https://www.infinitycoins.com/Products/intaglio-mint--cryptozoology-bigfoot--bu-2oz-silver.aspx).

At the very least, it helps ingrain the incidents as culturally recognized. It’s definitely cool to see them getting recognition.

I’m in this boat too. There’s a really cool one depicting the Falcon Lake Incident. At least they’re depicting real alleged sightings instead of like, E.T. or Alf or something.
