Was scrubbing gunk off the oem rims yesterday when UPS rolled up with our new steelies. Did a fitment test and finally got the damn winter tires ordered this morning.
In spirit of mechanicadvice, ballsintheshredder, what's your go-to method for cleaning up aluminum rims? They're.. a hot mess lol

Another goodie: two shops responded to query saying they didn't have the size I need and both attempted to upsell us on larger sizes. The rear tires on the insight have that little plate cover, so it's unlikely that wider tires would even work.
For reference, the tire size is 165/65R14.
