It is very fragile. Its part of the reason I normally stick to games that do not require third-party launchers.

EA App is garbage, even on Windows. Making it work at all on Linux is a remarkable feat in engineering.

Well, the fact that I need to login to play in offline mode is quite fascinating as well. lmao.

source: I use to play the original PvZ on EA App then just bought the Steam version because of this shit.

I used to play EA Games on Windows and I always had problems with EA's shitty launcher.

So the EA app works but that doesn't mean games using EAC such as battlefield 2042 work, right?

Correct. This is just for the app and not necessarily the games within the app.
