Personally Iβd like to see more content over at [email protected] . Full disclosure, Iβm a mod there, but I do think itβs the best gaming community here

Oh great, I loved the reddit sub, great community. Will check it out!
First of all, the best gaming community on Lemmy is obviously [email protected]
Second, even if that didn't exist, this isn't what you get when trying to go to the best anything community here:
The most recent post is from 15 hours ago so thatβs probably why. But thereβs some great discussion over there imo, and the idea of the community is great. Itβs all up to personal opinion though
Personal Finance has very little activity, sadlyβ¦
I guess most of people on Lemmy are millionaires who don't need any advice
I'm always too poor to participate in any personal finance community. The things they discuss in those spaces is wayyyy above me
Sometimes we just discuss how to save on groceries, there's something for everyone
That's cool and all, and I'm sure it's not intentional, but the rest of the discourse just makes me feel like a failure
Same here. I hear about 401k contributions and am envious that people can put anything aside.
General subs are the most active I would like to see more content in [email protected] and !lastfm. Hiphopheads has 1300 subscribers but only 5 regularly post contents. 4 of them are mods of the sub. It's not difficult to contribute to it. Just share links to which song/album you listen to
Sopuli.xyz I guess
Yes
Crazy, was trying to find similar themed communities and came across your post. This community is empty for me⦠turns out they defederated from my instance.
I made a similar community but i want it to focus on all elements of hip hop https://lemmy.world/c/hip_hop_is_more_than_rap
It could be basically any dead/slow community. Pick anything which you're interested in.
I actually don't know a lot of subs. I know [email protected] was a sub that was made during a time when Lemmy downvotes were crazy, and this was often cited, but things aren't like they were a month ago for the most part. Still possible to appreciate anything though.
I'd like more to happen on Bandnames.
