In case anyone is wondering, it's rqd2.

The definition of paraphilia is "a condition characterized by abnormal sexual desires, typically involving extreme or dangerous activities.", which can inclde pedophilia.

Don't be fooled by their rules, one of their biggest communities is a "MAP" community where they openly discuss pedophilia. They're likely larping as LGBTQ+ to make them look bad.

It has recieved 4 censures from fediseer due to the content contained on that instance

Not a good look for Lemmy to be promoting any instance like that.

You can see for yourself here

Update: A pull request was sent to remove the sus instance. It should no longer show up soon

For the morons downvoting the post: STOP SHOOTING THE MESSENGER DAMMIT. Problems don't go away if you hide them, OP is morally right on highlighting the issue.

In addition to what OP said: check the admin and creator of the instance, outright claiming to be a MAP. That's just a paedophile under another name.

“Transage, transrace, and transabled”c plus MAP… I’m sorry, but there’s a lot going on there… wtf

IIRC the join page is largely automated and simply scrapes active but "small" instances, other than instances that have been asked to be removed from it due to load issues (such as lemmy.world, lemmy.ml, etc). The devs probably don't even know its up there. Hopefully this gets their attention.

I'm going to preemptively warn my admins about them and ask for defederation though. Don't need that shit creeping in.

Report the instance to the authorities and it'll be problem solved.
