I'm not sure if it counts as "great" but I recently enjoyed "The Rock Cocks". A porn webcomic about a punk band. I started looking at it because it was porn, but actually read all of it because I enjoyed the characters and the light hearted story arcs.

He has some future plans but I stopped reading around book 17 because the story was much too complex to follow one day at a time. I planned on catching up when a few months later and life got me distracted. I didn't get back to it until a month ago.
Good thing is now I have a few entire sort lines to read, so a few weeks of materials.
