Damn, didn't realize it was their first. It's really well made for a first go.
Anime
Anime is hand-drawn and computer animation originating from Japan.
Anime; the one thing that gets us closer to each other and brings us together.
All spoilers must be tagged!
Yes, and they tried some really fun stuff. Like the multicoloured blood - it's plain as day that it's blood, but it fits amazingly well with the vibe of the show, making it look surreal and fun instead of heavy gore.
I hope that they work their issues out, and keep releasing anime series like this.
welp, hope they can sort everything out and find a workload that the production team can handle.
I'm surprised this anime has such big production issues, because it actually started out with an extremely polished episode 1.
But in the most recent episode, even I saw some production problems (shizukas shirt around her neck having the wrong color for a few moments)
Oof. Haven't started watching it, but it feels like the show could reflect accurately on what's going on behind the scenes.
My friends were loving it so I was waiting to watch in one go
it's very sad :(
Was this supposed to be 1 or 2 cours? Since Summer is ending, and Fall shows are going to take this spot, I can see why they'd just put it on hold until they're ready. Lots of shows have been doing that lately (Nier, Misfit of Demon Academy, Ayakashi Triangle off the top of my head.)
I feel bad because the show started really strong, but the repeated delays caused it to lose a ton of steam. I may try the live action movie on Netflix to see where the story goes/see if it's worth it to pick the anime back up when it comes back.
12 episodes (mal)
Thanks, friend.
FYI the latest two episodes of the anime go beyond the end of the live action film. You won't learn anything by watching it, unfortunately
Watched it last night since we're basically between seasons, and seems like the anime is way past where the movie ended.
However, the movie was pretty good. I think they did a good job translating things into a movie format. The casting was all pretty well done too.
Producers got eaten by zombies.
Serious now, what a shame. I bet that plenty people will forget about it afterwards.
Aw damn :/ hope they can work out whatever issues they are dealing with.
I could be wrong but I had a deja vu moment thinking back when the manga first came out. Could have sworn the fan translation team just randomly stopped working on it and there was no other team to take over, so the translations stopped for a few weeks.
It was either this series or another I was reading back then.
I'm not surprised as they ran out of time, but I was greatly enjoying this show. I look forward to watching these last few episodes whenever it is they come out. I wonder if they will release it all at once like Nier or do a re-airing like Misfit Demon King?
