It's going to be such a hard choice for Yuuki when this all comes to a head. I was sitting there trying to figure out what I would do in his position, and I couldn't really decide. On one end, your sister that you thought was lost is back, with a bunch of people who look like they got put in a bad situation through no fault of their own. On the other end, all of humanity, plus your newly found "family" that you've become a part of. However, the fact that I care this much means that this silly little ecchi show has done a good job with the story.

You know what would make this story a lot easier to understand? Arguments between lifelong bureaucrats about finer points of jurisdiction, committees, and escalating complaints.

I almost spit out my drink at this comment. Too true. Let's spend valuable time with this rather than something that moves the story along or explains things

Have we met Jill before? If we did, I don’t remember it. Rouge seems to know who they are, so let’s roll with it…

I was thinking she was on the land crawler trip on Mars but could be entirely wrong. Too lazy to go look, but I had the same attitude as you "Well she's here now, and Rouge remembers her, so I guess that's fine"

My impressions at this point are that rather than starting to wrap things up and move to a conclusion in episode 7, they're adding in more and more plot threads that they'll have to resolve in the next 5 episodes. Still having a good time though.

This show is much better than it has any right to be. Really glad I picked this up.

You pretty much summed up my exact thoughts on this show. It's really pretty to watch, and I'm having fun, but each episode I get more and more confused.

Is anyone else getting possible demon lord vibes from Patrick? There was a lot of focus this episode on him being so impressed with Yumiella being open and owning the "bad" things about herself, and how he went to great pains to hide his own flaws. IIRC the game didn't really focus on Yumiella too much, so maybe the two of them teamed up/why she was the hidden boss. Just something that occurred to me while watching.

It shows up at my local grocery store every now and then for the normal price. They still have the tag for it, with all the rest of the knock offs, but it does sell out quick when it comes in. I snagged a bottle a month or so ago, as none of the replacements scratch the same itch and my kids only like the real stuff.

I thought this episode was ok. I'm not familiar with the property at all, so I really enjoyed the fakeout. Like the other commenter said, the big fight looked great, but there's not really any indication of where things are headed from here. I'll give it another episode or two before I give it a nay or yay.

Is this going to be an actual show at some point? They seem to be doing a ton of laying things out and setting things up, and I think it'd be a fun show.

From your list, I really enjoyed I'm in Love with the Villainess, Sacrificial Princess, Magical Revolution, and Buddy Daddies. Zom100, Overtake, and Yuri is My Job were on the decent tier. I didn't watch Pluto or Ooku, so can't comment on those. However, Helk was really the one show that I tried so hard to like, but it just couldn't fully get there. I really enjoyed the beginning few episodes, and even the whole flashback arc that a lot of people despised. But after the flashbacks were over, it seemed like they lost their way and tried to do too much and be too many different things. The whole reason the bad guys did everything didn't make any sense (who is farming or making food or providing services in this kingdom?) but I did appreciate the underlying positive message. Maybe now that they've set everything else up, a S2 would be more consistent. I'll still give it a chance if they make more.

For me, my favorite 10 shows this year are probably (in no particular order)

Heavenly Delusion

Tomo Chan is a Girl

Ruroni Kenshin

Apothecary Diary

The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses

Dark Gathering

100 girlfriends Who Really Love You

Undead Girl Murder Farce

Sacrificial Princess

Hell's Paradise

Frieren is still running, otherwise it'd be on here too. Undead Unluck was a serious contender too. That show is a lot of fun.

Picked up right where S1 ended and hit the ground running. It took me a bit to remember who was who, but glad this one is bad.

They tricked me by listing 24 episodes, so I thought it was over a while back. Glad I saw this and was able to finish the season. This was definitely the surprise show of the year for me with how much I enjoyed it. If they keep making it, I'll keep watching it.

They're throwing in more and more DnD type references, and I'm here for it.
