[help] can only connect dualshock 3 (self.linux_gaming)

I'm using Ubuntu 22.04 with a Bluetooth dongle that should be Bluetooth 4.0 but the only controller that will connect is my dualshock 3 . Ubuntu does not seem to detect my dualshock 4 or dualsense controllers through usb or Bluetooth. Every where I check online says it should just work out of the box . Any trouble shooting suggestions . The dongle is insignia ns-pcy5bma2-c. And I do have steam installed .

Also is there anyway to get the sixaxis controls working for yuzu ?

Looking at the products website the dongle you are using only has driver support for Windows 10. Unfortunately, you need to make sure to get a dongle that supports Linux as far as I know. As for USB connection, that I'm not sure. Controllers have always worked out of the box for me on Ubuntu wired. Are you sure the usb cable your connection is capable of data passthrough? Some usb cables are power only.

I did end up getting it to work by manually pairing it with bluetoothclt in terminal. And the usb problem was due to a shitty Usb cable .
