Grandpa became granddaddy!
I’m legitimately excited for his update. Pako is going to be his new illustrator.
Sana was my favorite in Council and it broke my heart when she left.
Vesper is my favorite of the EN boys and for Pako to slot in as his new “mama” makes me happy. His art is amazing and he’s super supportive. Even after Sana retired he kept making brilliant hololive art.
Speculation for the change in illustrator is that Vesper’s original artist is ill (Komiya has been inactive on twitter for a while).
With anniversaries and stuff coming up it makes sense to slot in someone who can be involved on the regular. If Komiya-sensei is actually unwell, I hope they recover soon. I know so many of these artists burn themselves down to do all the work they need to do.
Is my sense of time off or does it seem early for something like this?
I'm thinking it might be more of a 1.5 similar to Dez's than an actual redesign but we'll see
I suppose so, though he does title the stream as "2.0 design". Even if it was a 1.5, Dez talked about how hard he had to fight just to get that, so it seemed like an exceptional thing.
Oh, didn't realise a stream had been made. Yeah does seem pretty early for a 2.0 then, especially given that someone like IRyS needed it more and hers took ages
