The Steam Deck ran it surprisingly well, to be honest. I used the settings off this page and it ran at a pretty solid ~40 FPS.

Not my favorite game, but it was pretty and fun to jump around hacking people as I hacked at people (with a katana). Story was ok, and the ending was just a bit meh for me, but worth it in my eyes.

Next I'm on to playing Outer Wilds docked to the TV with my partner. I'm a few cycles into it and am hooked. The Steam Deck was an excellent buy!

Recently finished outer wilds on the deck, and now I'm working through the dlc. If you're hooked, you are in for a ride. My advice is don't look at walkthroughs if you have the patience. Sometimes if you stare at the problem for long enough it might just solve itself. ;)

I can concur. Outer Wilds is one of the best games out there, and the DLC is a whole other ballgame, it's amazing.

Very fair. My wife and I are treating it as a puzzle we get to solve together. Currently, it is our moment to unwind a bit before bed, so it is a nice game to just explore at our own pace. We will steer clear of walkthroughs as the whole point is to figure out what's going on for ourselves.

And thanks for the advice!

You're doing it right. I always recommend The Outer Wilds as a couple's game even though it's single player for that reason. The puzzles and story are so good that my GF loved playing it with me. I almost wish I could wipe my memory and play it again for the first time.

Bout to play it on Steam Deck as well, hopefully I can get into it.

Any mods? When I first started playing I got annoyed with inventory management and remembered some auto-looting node for Witcher 3. Been waiting for all of that to mature.

I didn't really mess with mods. Sometimes I just want to play a simple game and that has been the vibe I've been aiming for with the deck. Just something I can install and go with no hassle.

That said the modding community seems to be pretty robust for cyberpunk. Not sure how the new patch/dlc will affect that, but I'll probably replay it after that all settles down and matures after launch.

I've owned it for a while but haven't started it since I'm trying to clear my current backlog. Glad to hear it runs solid though. 40 FPS is impressive.

@Alatain I played through on the deck and had a great time. I’m hoping the dlc will run. Not sure if it will
