I went through my late teens as the initial smart phone boom was happening. I had a Motorola q that could get TV channels and had a keyboard. I had the enV that flipped open. And many androids/blackberries that I loved for their unique form factor and functionality.

I have never balked at spending money on a phone and for a long time i felt locked into generic flagship devices. With the debut of folding screens I feel like my appetite for unique devices rekindled. I think the power of android lies in its diversity of implementation.

So what features and functionalities would you choose over the next flagship release?

flir camera (yes i know there are phones with these)
better speakers
10,000mah battery
real hdmi out

I loved the Motorola RAZR , the budget one that AT&T was shilling circa 2003/2004. I would love an Android that looked half as cool as that for $59.99. My niche is Cheap and Durable. Also ze niche of tons of battery life, even if I must sacrifice other features.i don't care how many MP the camera has, it's not worth it to me to have to the battery life along. I would love to have (built in to the purchase) upgrade access to the next Android release. Upgrade my phone software instead creating ewaste!? That would be worth a few bucks up front. Hope this helps.

Yes ! ... Stop downgrading the software with each Android "upgrade" and stop creating ewaste.
