I hope this is okay to post here. Long story short, I have extreme, intractable chronic pain 24/7. I use medical cannabis vapes on occasion to help me deal with it, but I'm not able to get it right now.

I'm seeing all these websites that talk about delta 9 as if it gives the same effect as regular thc products.

For example, a cookie that says it has 100 MG per cookie, and you're supposed to divide it into doses.

Anyways, is this stuff legit, or is it like CBD which in my experience had no effects on me? I'm in a great deal of pain, and just considering my options, but I can't afford to spend money on anything if it doesn't actually help. If anyone could advise me on this I'd be very thankful.

Edit: thanks everyone for the input. I decided to get a vape, and it's helping a great deal. I'm glad that I asked here.

Delta 9 is just THC. Cannabidiol is just CBD. Delta 8 and Delta 10 are the strange ones made from CBD which get you high but less so than delta 9. Sounds like a THC cookie to me and would probably have an effect. Interesting that CBD didn't work for you, but the Cannabidiol vapes did as those should in theory be the same ingredient.

I'm probably using the wrong word. The medical ones here have "thc from full spectrum oil and terpene", and I think there's a little cbd in there as well. They aren't super strong, but it's definitely thc. They're from Batch Extracts.

Some people just don't metabolize edibles. I don't know the scientific explanation but it seems to be the case. I am a lightweight when it comes to edibles but you'll definitely hear people saying they took 10x what I would consider and felt very little effect.

D9 is normal thc. Thc-a is normal thc just nor decarbed yet. D8,10,etc are sketchy derivatives that are simmilar but synthetic or semi synthetic. Type 1 is primarily thc, type 2 is roughly half cbd half thc, type 3 is mostly or all cbd. But yeah delta 9 is normal thc, generally full spectrum (contains cbd, thc, minor cammabanoids, terpenes etc) is proffered because it's more balanced than only thc extracts.

In a lot of weed unfriendly places they use minor cannabinoids since those aren't explicitly banned by weed laws. The deltas are some of the popular ones, along with THCO and THCH, etc. They're just isolates from the same plant and/or hemp. They'll defo get you high if they're related to THC. CBD and its variants obviously won't

Lots of great options to try - I tried a whole variety of cannabinoids to see what I like best. For daytime I settled on delta9+thcv+cbg, for nightime delta8+thco+cbno. Ordered mostly from here: gildedextracts.com

I was skeptical, but we went on a trip recently and didn't want to risk bringing anything on a plane, so we figured we'd try Delta 9, and I was impressed. It's not going to be the best stuff you've tried, but I recommend it in a pinch.

You are quite retarded and do not know what you are taking about

[–] Rhynoplaz -1 points 1 year ago

I very well may be retarded, but I know what I'm talking about, perhaps you don't know what I'm talking about. That's fine if you don't, I'm not gonna argue, I just know I bought it legally in an illegalized state and it got me buzzed.

It's close enough. Definitely not like CBD. If you use a lot of the "real" thing you'll know it's not quiet the same, but it's close.

It's close but not the same much more of a CBD feel. Harsher and does not last as long. Also makes it harder to think than normal THC IMHO. I'd say it makes you spacey but does not have much of the body high you are looking for from my experience I'm in the same chronic pain boat. Personally I'd say dabs are more economical than pens and less likely to be boof. If it's snow white leave it look for gold. The white stuff has been "cleaned"
