But why?

My kids are not going to be happy about this…

That's disappointing. My kids really liked it.

I'm surprised I hadn't heard of this one. Is it completely a kids show or is there some value in watching this myself? I assume this is supposed to be captain Janeway in the images I am seeing on google.

it's intended to be a kids show but IMO it had a pretty adult story. And it's almost like a Voyager sequel. Over all I thought it was some of the best new trek that's been made.

I have only watched the first episode or two. I thought it was OK, but very grim for a show set in the Star Trek universe aimed at kids. It certainly didn't grab me like Lower Decks, I binge watched that show!

That's a shame, it was some of the best of New Trek.

I never heard of this before. Was it an animated kids show about Wesley Crusher? I know they did an animated series in the 1970s, and have heard that it was decent as such things go. I don't know if it was a kids show. I didn't watch it but have wondered about it at times.

It is definitely well past time for Star Trek to be put out to pasture. It has outlived Perry Rhodan and then some.

It’s an animated series for kids and families. Wesley doesn’t appear but a holographic Janeway does as a mentor figure.
