Anyone interested in opening a Lotrmemes community? (self.general)

After seeing a lot of prequelmemes, I searched for a Lotrmemes communties and I was able to find 2 in another instances but they are small and don't seem to be actively moderated. So I want to open one for Lemmy.world but I never moderated before and I am not very good at writing community rules. If anybody else is down to open one I would like to help them instead

You mean a community? I think Lemmy.world IS an instance.

Still, you should start one, and promote it, post on it, and whatnot. If there's activity, mods'll come.

I was able to join "Lord of the [email protected]" from my lemmy.world instance, so I was planning on sticking with that for now and contributing when inspiration strikes. It was one of my favourite subreddits!

If you build it, they will come....probably. I will at least cause lotr is one of my favorites, I try to read it every year or two if I can. I'm a tolkein nerd a little bit for sure lol.

I have the gd bestiary ffs. Who am I kidding lol
