Is it possible to get sync to clear the cache? As someone who has ocd I'd like the option to leave everything behind me clean when I leave.

Edit: added words.

The fact that you can link a setting is a huge woah factor here. What a time to be alive!

Long press on any setting and it will copy the link to clipboard.

Do you understand what cache is and why you want it cleared?

Do you want to re-download everything every time you start the app? Cache is there for a reason, and the reason is usually to speed things up. The only reason you typically need to clear it is when it gets corrupted and bugs out the app.

I actually cleared the cache the only one time a few days ago because images weren't showing. Other than that you may want to clear it when you're low on storage space but because app cache is stored separately from app storage, the os will clear it for you when you need space.

If you keep cleaning cache, you will use up more bandwidth, more cpu power and more battery.

how do I do x?

you don't need to be able to do x.

Do you also secretly answer every question on stackoverflow?

Hey, I'm just trying to educate. A lot of people don't know what cache is and often associate it with "junk" files that need to be cleared.

Press the back arrow twice to exit and clear the cache.

Zero interest in this.
