Ricciardo has bad luck these last few years. If Lawson performs well he might not have a seat next year.

I don't think you can attribute his underperformance at McLaren to bad luck. He was just not able to adapt to a difficult to drive car and his weaknesses were exposed. That is on the driver and not bad luck

Agreed. I really like the guy but he made some bad choices and has not been performing well at all the last couple of years.

And Japan is only a week after that. Honestly I think Qatar would be more realistic (2 weeks after Japan).
