I’ve been driving myself crazy trying to get the Epic Games version of Star Wars Battlefront II working on the deck with no success. I’ve tried Lutris with the script that can be found on the Lutris website as well as installing the EA app directly. Always ends up with an error in the EA app before signing in or in Origin when trying the Lutris way.

So I’m curious, is there anyone who has recently managed to get the game working on the Deck, and if yes, how did you do it?

If you have problems starting the EA laucher (a blank EA launcher colored screen and crashing back to the desktop / your library) this is your fix:

https://steamdeckhq.com/tips-and-guides/fixing-ea-play-blank-screen-for-ea-games-on-steam/

If the game itself doesn’t start, I don’t know how to help, sorry.

Edit: Let the program do its thing before you do anything else. Some steps require some time to be finished.

How does your EA app crash? They recently changed their launcher so you have to download some .dlls and a font to be able to log on using the Deck. There is a decently easy way to fix it if you google and check youtube. Done it myself about three weeks ago but forgot the source that guided me.
