This little spot, where I camped in a free cabin by the river, all alone for a week, was bristling with fungi. I think i identified at least 12 species in the first 15 minutes of walking.

Me either, I was stunned when I saw it glowing in the sunlight, like a little sidequest. I think it might be a vermillion waxcap, but not sure.

It could be a Vermilion Waxcap (Hygrocybe miniata)

Cool find! If you want to ID, you could check for varieties of Hygrocybe (waxcap). There very rare in my region.
