Happy to discuss any of these bad boys! All but the VaporGenie see regular use. I also got an old MFLB stashed aways somewhere that I bring out maybe once a year or so for a sesh but I forgot to include it in the pic and can't be arsed to take another one rn.

Great collection! Herborizer is bae.

what are the vapes to the left and right of the airizer?

If you mean the back row, that's the BAKx by lamart on the left and the herborizer to the right. My two absolute favourites when it comes to fast extraction!

yep thx. those look 2 complicated for me. just gimme an unregulated vape and a power source and i'm good ;)

BAK took a bit of playing around with settings and there were some shenanigans with the connection integrity that I had to figure out, so maybe not the best if you don't want to tinker a bit for a great experience. Herborizer is as easy as it gets though, turn dial to your preferred heat setting, wait a couple minutes for it to fully heat up and then hit it whichever way you want. Sure, you need some trial and error at first to figure the perfect settings but once you do, it's super consistent every time. Actually that last sentence goes for both of them, just more things to figure out with the BAK. Not that I'm opposed to more manual vapes, mind you!

Sweet collection. Which do you use most?

[–] oaschbeidl 3 points 1 year ago

Right now the BAKx, but that's also my latest acquisition. VaporGenie never gets used, Lotus not a whole lot but increasing lately, everything else sees pretty regular use. Solo 2 a lot less since the BAK is here, but I think after my honeymoon phase it'll make its way back into the regular rotation for couch movie situations and such.

What's a sesh like in the vapor genie, those have always intrigued me

Tbh I've only used it a handful of times. It's a very similar ritual as the lotus but not quite as tasty. Extracts very fast and well, but I'm not a fan of direct draw butane vapes in general. It's the only vape I kinda regret buying, I should put it up for sale again (I tried shortly after I bought it but there was no interest then).

Nice collection. Can you compare pros/cons of the XMax Pro V3 and the Arizer Solo2? Currently considering both of those...

[–] oaschbeidl 1 points 1 year ago

Definitely!

V3 wins for on the go use. Its form factor is close enough to an e-cig that nobody gives me a second look and I've even used it in very crowded places without issue. It extracts a bit faster, has a replaceable battery, is relatively easy to clean and has a sturdy, high class feel to it that you wouldn't expect from a budget device.

That said, the solo 2 easily blows it out of the water in terms of flavour and smoothness of the vapor. It also extracts a bit more thoroughly. I wouldn't pick up the V3 over it at home on the couch. A bowl takes a bit more time (with my use about 5 min for the V3 vs 10 minutes for the solo 2). It's even easier to clean and the battery capacity is massive. I've used mine almost daily for about 4 years, only since I got the BAK it's getting a bit less use and a charge still lasts for 10+ bowls.

Ultimately it's a question of your use case, if you wanna bring it with you and use it out and about a lot, go V3, otherwise solo 2.
