Just read this series, I enjoyed it quite a lot, short and sweet, if you've read it what are your thoughts on it?

I feel like I should like a lot of yuri stuff, but the nag to me is when it feels like they’re being pushed into it by “The Writer”.

Interestingly, I also know of another graphic novel in which all men have disappeared (except one) called Y: The Last Man. In that one, they haven’t solved the reproduction issue, leading to a tense future - it’s a bit more dramatic rather than just sexualized paradise.

Fair enough on the first point, I didn't feel like this series was pushing or sexualising yuri, however, it definitely shows a much happier world than what reality would be.

The series definitely focuses a lot more on the relationship of the 2 main characters than what happens in the world and what caused the world to be the way it is, which is fine for this series since its quite short, but I can see how that lack of world building and world exploration could turn some people away.

It was a nice short ride with cute yuri and a full story with a conclusion, written a bit like a movie

spoilerI'm glad they didn't go too far in drama, remained sweet till the end
