Yea no shit - you can't slow walk this team build if you have Gobert locked up and spent that much on him. Honestly, this would have been the best course of action (in a universe where you don't trade for Gobert, maintained Vanderbilt) - it would make sense to ship off Towns for the #3 pick and build around that player and Ant.

Whew, that's good. I think it could be interesting to see KAT in a new team culture but I think he could be had for less than the #3. I still don't think Portland ends up with him though regardless.

Blazers feel like they're in kinda a weird position since almost every path forward depends on what Charlotte does with the #2 pick.
