Considering the Lemmy logo is kind of a cartoon snoo-esque Lemur, It'd say it's probably Lemmy the Lemur.

edit: I realized that I'm posting from Lemmy.ml that has the lemur logo, but lemmy.world just shows a globe.

https://github.com/LemmyNet uses the lemur as well, so I think it's the logo of the software, not the lemmy.ml server.

Indeed, Lemmy has the lemur, Lemmy.world has a world, Beehaw has a bee with a cowboy hat.

That's the strength of federation, each instance has its own identity
