I created this after fleeing reddit. Hopefully more people will find this and will become the new home for r/tampa

Hello neighbor! Same boat here. Thanks for creating the community! Dunno that I'll have much to post, but new communities like this are appreciated!

Glad you found us! I figured this is the best way to help. I deleted my reddit account awhile ago. Can you post a link to this on r/tampa? Maybe if we can get the word out this community might have a fighting chance.

Hey there. I switched instances. I had thought about doing this with some of the subs I visit, but ultimately I don't know that it's a great idea, as it would be kindof spammy. I think the hope would just be that people would slowly flock here. I'll have to try to think of some content to post. Generally I just lurked the Tampa sub myself.

I lurked as well. Hopefully if we can all post a little bit of content each day the community will grow.

Awesome! I'm glad to see things moving so fast! I didn't expect to see my local already. I'll try to help get things rolling with whatever content I find.

That would be great!

Appreciate this, I used the reddit sub a lot for keeping up on the things happening locally, looking good so far
