Interesting, never thought to drain the water from cucumbers. The water usually makes it tricky to apply any spices, aside from those that draw into the water, like salt and vinegar.

Might try having cucumbers with some thick caraway coating. Love me some caraway.

Or try to roast cucumbers with some tofu. And dried apricot slices.
