Daegu's conservative Mayor Hong Joon-pyo supported the motion for an injunction, which sought to ban the festival over claims large numbers of people on the streets would restrict local businesses.

Too many people buying stuff is bad for local businesses. Sounds like this Mayor is 'restricting local busniess'.

Everytime somethings wants to 'progress' Conservatives are always there to stop it from doing so. Be it the economy, human rights, labor laws, technology, etc. We might as well just be cavemen forever...
