This charming animated series – adapted from the popular web comic – has the potential to be wonderful. Sadly, the 25-minute episodes are full of gimmicky characters and repetitive takes

"a good thing"? It was a mid joke in the first place, and the comic strip long ago forgot how the joke even works. The dude who makes it is shady about his abortion beliefs. Maybe it was too much of a mediocre thing?

I don't understand the comics.

It's the same joke. Explain a simple or basic situation, but with more words.

The first episode was pretty good. I feel like a lot of people forget how many shows took some time to get into their groove.
