Yes, in user settings, you can uncheck "show read posts". This will apply everywhere. Jerboa, the website, communities, etc.

Thanks alot, very useful
I'm on jerboa idk if it's universal, but ye in the settings>account settings>show read posts
Uncheck it and it should be Gucci
Just keep in mind that it will hide every post youβve read, even in your profile. Even posts you created. You canβt go back to a post without disabling that setting.
do they show back up again if there's a new comment?
I don't think so. If you've viewed/voted on it, it gets hidden
thanks!
Sweet, just changed that setting. Cheers!
Can confirm that this works, thank you!
Now I just need it to hide on scroll past and it would be perfect!
Voting on a post will mark it as "read." Although, I do wish there was a quick hide option for those posts I don't wish to vote or click on.
Follow up question: any chance there is a "hide downvoted posts" variant? I used that one a lot on RiF
I wish this could be more selective. I like to keep some read posts still around to check for later comments. But others I would hide quickly if I could.
This doesn't appear to do what they want.
