A community to discuss European (geo)politics
I think a felon rapist who incited an insurrection and illegally attempted to overturn an election is trying to extort a democratic country who is sending an entire generation of their men into the afterlife to prevent Russia from expanding their borders and influence, which is bad for the whole world.
As an American, I am utterly ashamed of my country.
It's time for Europe to act and not leave the power of interpretation to Trump and his goals. We cannot continue letting him shape the public discussion/information space. Build a strong pillar that puts something against his wall of noise and make clear that Europe won't falter to his attacks.
Trump will do everything possible to appease Putin regarding Ukraine.
If the EU doesn't protect Ukraine, more countries will become victims.
Moldova, Belarus, Poland, ...
I love how the Trump administration is just so blunt. They just do all their things for everyone to see. In a way, they are too dumb to lie, to play mind games. It's just unhinged brutality all the way, no subtlety, no in between the lines. I don't think it's going to work in their or America's favor.
And yet, the american media will bend over backwards to say that what you saw is in dispute.

I stopped watching/listening to all mainstream media because of this.
