This almost makes it sound like a good thing. 20% is way too much to give them, more than ever (?) before.

Short answer: no, because there can only be two parties in the US.

Long answer: maybe, if democrats can stall long enough to get rid of Trump, and then bring about election reform. But good fucking luck.

That 20% still gives them the second most seats and is 10 more points than they got last time.
