Obernolte repeated several times he thinks the federal deficit is too high: “I think it is the single biggest existential threat facing our country today.”

“Tax the billionaires!” a person shouted from the audience.

“The fact that we’re running a $2 trillion deficit is really disturbing,” the congressman continued.

They just ignore the people at this point.

In the article he went on to say it’s not a revenue issue, it’s a spending issue.

I’d still tax the billionaires. Working class should get tax cuts, lower retirement age, less working days.
