In the article it says he just thinks that united national armies won’t work but isn’t against some kind of separate, joint army. Not sure what that would look like but yea, that’s an important thing the headline doesn’t say.
But then he also says he won’t help Ukraine with troops specifically because he wants to protect his eastern flank. I get how troops are human beings and it’s different than sending weapons but why wait to see if Russia will push forward and get your eastern civilians caught in the crossfire?
