Cecil flashback was amazing.

Heck yeah, it was so insightful to see, and made him more likeable. He's an antihero, which is the mist relatable type.

It was great to learn more about Cecil. I also really liked that he basically had the same flaw as Invincible, but learned to look at the world in a different way.

He, like Mark, was so focused on the failures. Sure I saved thousands of lives, but what about the 17 people I failed. A villain is a villain and cannot be reformed.

The world is full of half victories and grey areas.

It also explained why Cecil freaked out so badly about Mark's reaction. Cecil killed people at that stage.
