TLDR: Texas Colleges can no longer be racist

Slightly longer TLDR: Texas Colleges can no longer discriminate based on race, neither positively or negatively. No preferences, trainings, policies, nothing. They can not compel racist statements from staff or students either. They also shutting down the DEI offices, and are requiring a report every 2 years on the impact of the law.

Much longer TLDR: Just read the damn thing, it is not that long, and the legalese isn't that bad here.

Where would someone go if they were being discriminated against? I'm assuming they would go to the DEI office before.

That's the point. They won't have anywhere to go. They will be abused and harassed and nobody will help them. That's what these people want.

Depends on who it was and the college, but their boss presumably. And you can still make complaints to the government.

Hell of a lot drier than usual, but I figure its best to actually know what the law says. And its actually a good law, or at least from my laymans standpoint.
