This is the "official" Fediverse community for all things pro wrestling!

Come discuss pro wrestling! Any company or era is welcome.

Please ensure you have NSFW posts enabled or you may miss out on some threads. Bots are not used in this community.

Rules: (Click to expand)

1. Be Civil.

Users are expected to be civil and inclusive towards one another at all times. Remember the person on the other side of the screen. Hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and other inflammatory language is prohibited.

2. Keep content related to wrestling.

Any content posted should at least be related to pro wrestling somehow.

3. Spoilers.

Do not spoil events for people. If an event is going on, please keep discussion contained to the/a discussion thread for 24h after the event. Do not post spoilers in titles during this period. Use the spoiler function when you need to, it's there for a reason. Should your post involve a url to a spoiler (Twitter, YouTube video, etc) please mark the thread as NSFW as well so thumbnails are blurred.

4. Vague/Editorialized Title.

Please keep the titles of any articles you post clear, understandable, and indicative of what the article states within. It's ok to alter the title if the original is clickbait and confusing, or contains a spoiler like a debut that just occurred that day, but do not add your own thoughts to it.

5. Sexualized Content/'Plot'.

Please do not post any pornographic, 'creep shot', or similar adult-related material to the community (regardless of connection to wrestling). Wrestling content that involves sexualized content (in storylines/matches/promos) is fine, as well as photo's wrestlers post to their own social medias. Butt-shots you take with your cell phone at a house show aren't.

6. Banned Source(s)/Websites.

Due not necessarily to the content of their reporting, but to their harassing and doxxing of users, the following news sources, journalists, and content creators are not permitted to be posted on SquaredCircle in any context - including direct links, articles, social media, and reports that cite only those sources:

  • WrestleVotes
  • RingSideNews
  • Brad Shepard
  • Billi Bhatti and "The Dirty Sheets"
  • Any post or article citing one of the above as a primary source.

Also due to technical issues, bigotry/extremism, and various other issues, we do not accept URL submissions from the following websites:

  • Twitter/X (Please use Nitter, xcancel, or submit a screenshot if you are unable to source a non Twitter/X url)

Any posts violating these rules may be removed.

Hopefully this is the right place to ask, I'm not active on any other sites so this is the only place I could think of. I'm in Australia and I haven't kept up with any promotions' wrestling apart from the odd PPV since maybe the Ruthless Aggression era. The last thing I watched was Lucha Underground, which I had to torrent.

I want to show my partner some old PPVs (specifically Survivor Series 2002 and Royal Rumble 2005 for now), as far as I can tell the WWE Network has been discontinued and it tells me everything will be on Netflix now, but it's not clear if that's all of the archives or just new stuff. Searching online tells me Raw is possibly on Netflix, and they say in this FAQ that "select countries" get "select content" which tells me fuckin nothing. Other sites don't mention Netflix at all but say there's stuff on Peacock, Binge, Foxtel Now, or Kayo, none of which I've ever used and none of which are specific about what they offer.

Help? I'm willing to pay or pirate, I don't care as long as the quality is watchable. I don't have any streaming service accounts and don't want to have to sign up for them just to see what they're exactly offering.

Triller for AEW. Netflix for WWE. Triller is great because they don’t censor anything and you have the full back catalog of AEW shows and PPV’s

XWT (torrents) may have it, but their registration is closed. Their 'Classics' site has their registration open and given the age range of what you're looking for it might be there, no harm in making an account to check at the least.

Beyond that: Even via piracy its not the easiest to find old shows (outside of those 2 aforementioned sites). If you can't find it you may be stuck having to wait for Netflix to play catch up and get the rest of the content uploaded (which iirc they are supposed to be doing, just over some time since its decades worth of stuff).

Classics cuts off at 1995 IIRC.

Here’s my go to when I’m trying to keep it legal: https://reelgood.com/

It well tell you the service where your show / movie is playing if there is a service that offers it. Unfortunately, your shows aren’t available on any service.

So step 2 would be searching EBay or step 3 pirating. Torrents are the easiest platform in regards to file sharing. There are other downloading services like XDCC send via mIRC or NZB via Usenet.

Not sure it’s a good idea for me to tell you how to use Step 3, but Google searching can get you far. πŸ˜ƒ

By the way, if you are going to Pirate, make sure to use a VPN to safeguard your file sharing.

Foxtel/Kayo/Binge no longer has the rights, so I'm assuming it's on Netflix here as well. As with the move to Peacock in the US, not everything will be available immediately, they're gradually uploading the archives.
