its a funny kind of paradox.. a somewhat irrational worry (something you cannot affect) could be an escape, solace from much more pressing and real matters.. nobody can tell you how worried you 'should' be but unless you mean to devote your life to mathematics, science, astrophysics or whatever is required to get closer to the problem and find out-- i wouldn't worry about it.
