Does Matrix have Drop-in Drop-out Voice Channels? (self.matrix)

Voice channels similar to discord and Teamspeak, where you don't need to "call" the people you want to talk to, you just join the channel. Is this a feature in Matrix?

I believe it's what element call is for, it's still in developpement and I can't wait for it to ne finished, calling in matrix kinda suck rn

There is the Video Rooms labs/beta in element. Try on app.element.io or develop.element.io

Not sure if there is a better way for your set up, but if you go to the room info (I at the top right), add widgets, bridges & bots, and add Jitsi Meet, it will set up a voice and/or video meeting that will run. Then anyone can join the meeting whenever they'd like.
