This makes me laugh because I’m remembering a time when I was still a kid and I saw someone take a beat up Oldsmobile over a speed bump without slowing down and parts literally fell off the undercarriage as he sped away.

I lost a tire to a pothole last summer. That shits expensive.

I paid for the whole suspension travel and I'm gonna it.

Asked coworker for a ride (only four blocks, so not a big deal) due to rain. Hit a bad pothole. Busted his tire. I felt terrible about it.

Just had to replace an axle on my Subaru. It didn't even look like a pothole, it looked like a small ice patch. But it was just a skim layer of ice on top and a deep pothole full of water underneath. Probably shouldn't have been going quite that fast either.

I aimed for a block of slush/snow driving once to squish it but it turned out to be solid ice and blew out the tire.

You hit your head on the ceiling, black out for a second and don't realize you're now driving on the wrong side of the car

That's the correct side.

I bounce up and hit the roof of my car. When I have passengers and they bounce up and hit the roof of my car, I tell them that I paid extra for the ultra-rigid suspension.
