The suggestion that parents should hit their children is an interesting one.
Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Yep, because the only way to teach kids is through physical abuse apparently.
Gotta switch it up from all the emotional abuse every now and then. Keep them kids on their toes. /s
God wants us to hit children. That's why he made them smaller than us. (This is sarcasm.)
Some people underestimate how strong a few minutes of boredom works as a deterent to bad behavior in kids. And there's always the nuclear option - a long rambling academic lecture, with the only escape being through demonstrating (age appropriate) active listening skill practice.
I think my kids sometimes wish I used corporal punishment...heh.
Well thats.. kinda fucked. I'm more fine with violence being used against an adult if all else fails, but "you're a jerk. your parents should have beat you more" is a bit Yikes
but "you're a jerk. your parents should have beat you more" is a bit Yikes
that's not what i read. more like "your parents should have dealt with this when you were a kid. They didn't so i'm doing it now… but if you insist on being "a jerk", i may need to paddle you to maturity."
So if you read her comics there is a lot of visual representations of internal dialogue. Like her devil and angel. Now granted comics can do things like have a character having a sword (paddle I guess but it looks like a sword) all of a sudden but hers is sorta a comic blog/diary thing. So I think a lot of this is about feeling when encountering an unreasonable person.
Is that Dante from clerks

Probably something about Greenland.
