Stamets is dead, his alt killed him.
Yeah so I have no fucking idea what has been going on but someone made me aware of this today. A slew of alt accounts were made using the name Stamets. Stamets v2, Stamets alt, etc. Across a bunch of different instances. After posting they've been deleting the account almost immediately after. An admin reached out to me asking if I was involved and we're just both confused.
People weird.

Maybe file a report with their instance(s) as a blatant impersonation attempt. I genuinely thought you made an alt for whatever reason.
The instance is usually Lemmy.world and I've been talking with the admin about it after they made me aware of it. No alt from me. No point at this point. I do have an alternate account but it's one I made months before I ever started posting memes. Even on the other instance. I don't really use it and have no reason to. At this point I just let people block me on this account to get it over with lol
