This is a 2024 remastered version with footage from the 1993 documentary Hype.

I only became aware of Seattle punk band, The Gits, because I was given a copy of the fundraising/tribute album Evil Stig to review for a low-level publication I was writing for. I can't remember anything that I wrote about it!

This was a few years after their untimely dissolution because of the gruesome murder of their lead singer, Mia Zapata.

Love The Gits! I found out about them because of a charity double CD compilation called "Home Alive." Had all the Seattle bands on it. So good. "Enter: the Conquering Chicken" is still a great album. Mia could really wail. So sad we lost her.
